Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's National Society of Black Physicists 2020 Conference, co-hosted by Brookhaven National Laboratory on November 5-8, 2020, will also be virtual! Additional funding for this year's virtual conference will be provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
The theme for this year's conference is "Achieving the Vision: From First Principles to the Future."

The Honorable Sethuraman "Panch" Panchanathan is a computer scientist and engineer and the 15th director of the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF).
Dr. Larry Gladney is currently the Phyllis A. Wallace Dean of Diversity and Faculty Development and Professor of Physics in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Yale University.
Dr. Tabbetha Dobbins is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy and Interim Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School at Rowan University.
Jared Crooks is the Manager of Science Investments at Schmidt Futures where he develops the strategy for supporting innovative scientific research, technologies and people to address pressing issues and advance cutting-edge programs.
Dr. Lisa Dyson the Founder and CEO of Air Protein where they are reinventing how food is produced in order to sustainably feed 10 billion people by 2050. At Air Protein, they're making meat from elements of the air. She is also the founder and CEO of Kiverdi. Kiverdi is a biotechnology company that is working with companies to make the circular economy a reality by remaking supply chains to manufacture goods using CO2.
